About Ruby and Ruby's Run
Why We Get Pledges:
We are raising money for the scholarship created in memory of Ruby Harvey. Your $5 registration fee covers part of the cost for us to buy your T-shirt, so that money does not go to the scholarship. People's pledges and donations are where the money comes from to help pay for the scholarship.
Getting pledges is something adults do often when they want to raise money for something they care about in their community.
We think making things better is something kids care about and are VERY good at doing. You have energy, enthusiasm, and love to have fun. You can show everyone just how strong KID POWER is really is. Kids working together make good things happen!
How Pledges Work:
Ask your classmates, friends, family, neighbors and teachers to make a pledge. A pledge is a promise that they will give a certain amount to the scholarship for you to finish the run. Grown ups and kids can pledge!
How to Turn in Your Pledges:
  1. Collect them, cash or check (made payable to Ruby's Run-Ruby Harvey Scholarship) and bring them with you to the race. Be sure to print out the downloadable pledge form and bring it with you (download the pledge form here*).
  2. Ask people to visit this website and pay their pledge online using the "Pledge Here!" or CLICK HERE TO PLEDGE ONLINE link.

Show up on the day of Ruby's Run!  Lots of Fun stuff will be going on.

The run is for Kids ONLY, so tell the grown-ups you know to come and cheer you on!
